This presentation explores the impact of teen parenting on early childhood education and social-emotional development, highlighting the unique challenges faced by young parents and their children. It examines how limited resources, emotional immaturity, and lack of support can affect children’s learning experiences, behavior, and emotional well-being. By understanding these challenges, we aim to identify strategies that foster resilience, improve educational outcomes for both parents and children and support the social-emotional development of children in teen-parent households.
