Research has shown that self-regulation skills are the underlying proficiencies necessary for learning and success in school. These skills begin developing in early childhood and are fully developed into adulthood. Their development can be supported both at home and at school. In this session, we will discuss what self-regulation is as well as strategies and activities that can be utilized at home and school to support its development.
