The US Department of Education, in partnership with Carnegie Corporation of New York and the Overdeck Family Foundation, facilitated a six-part webinar series intended to help education leaders and practitioners implement family engagement strategies that support student success. Thousands attended the webinars that brought evidence-based strategies and research, bright spots from the field, and resources to attendees, while highlighting how education leaders and community partners can use the American Rescue Plan’s historic $130 billion investment in education in support of these efforts. This session will expand the audience for the learning series by highlighting the current research, elevating lessons from the bright spot collaborators, sharing resources aligned to the learning series topics, and discussing ongoing family engagement efforts by the Department.
