With all the competing thoughts and opinions on the education of bilingual children, it can be difficult for families and educators to determine how best to support their growing bilingual children. Participants will uncover the reality of dual-language acquisition and learn strategies for ensuring that the home language is maintained even while children begin a formal education in English.
